This month's PvP-focused event will be using Heroes of the Storm with a more uncommon map and game settings than we usually see.

As with all gaming competitions, you must follow the Rites of Combat. As such, all matches must be set up via the Fist Bot in the DB Gaming Telegram channel. Any matches determined to be arranged via other means will be declined and will not count for this event.

Details

As noted above and in the competition title, this will be a 1v1 PvP HotS event using a specific map that forces ARAM (All Random, All Mid) rules/gameplay. A brief overview of the ARAM gameplay can be found here if you are not familiar with the term.

Match Settings

This competition requires that all matches be played on the ‘Lost Cavern” map WITHOUT any AI characters added.

Placements

This competition will use PvP Score to determine placements.

Miscellaneous

One tip to consider - regardless of which character you choose in the ready screen, you will be presented with 3 random choices once you actually enter the game.

For Fist Bot joining, Singular Submission will be set for this competition, meaning that you cannot play with opponents who have not signed up for this event. The Fist Bot will announce that someone is queued for the specific competition - remember the RoC in that you cannot announce that you are the person queued!

Placement in this competition will be included in the GMRG score calculation for members that are Rank X and above.
