On Kiast, legend speaks of a ship known as the Light Of Ki'asma, passed which has carried the greatest heroes of Kiast in the era before the Vatali Empire even existed. The ship was lost when the last of these heroes fell. Writing in the style of a legend or fairy tale, tell the story of the last hero to captain the Light, and how they lost it. Was it their own folly? A heroic sacrifice? A glorious last stand or a tragic downfall?

Minimum 500 word entry, with grading being done using the Fiction Grading Rubric. The top three entries will receive Fifth Level Crescents; also, the top ranking entry will be considered the Canon backstory for the upcoming Run-On.
