Deathwatch Combat Writing: Reb Sino

Prompt: Upon searching through House Wren surveillance, we beleive we have uncovered the individual responsible for planting the explosives in the Quaestor's office.

Reb Sino, a hideous looking Twi'lek. We beleive he is working with the Collective who have set up a base on Daemmun, Zsoldos' forested moon. However upon searching for that base we have been unsuccessful in finding it.

Your mission is simple. Combat and defeat Reb Sino and get the exact location of the base out of him by any means necessary. After that... Well, you know what the Aedile and Quaestor expect of us. Be careful, we don't expect him to be peaceful. We beleive he frequents the Saga drinking hall.

Rules: There is no max word limit though entries must be at least 500 words minimum. Your story should focus on your main or alternative character but NPC's and other characters you create to help tell the story are allowed and encouraged. Once subscribed you will see a link to a character sheet for Reb Sino. Use it to get an idea of his personality and capabilities.

Grading: Grading will be done utilizing the Fiction Rubric.

Reb Sino was coming out of the Saga drinking Hall, drunk and beaten badly, with a blaster in his hand. Trenkyp Zkig moved closer to Reb as he realized what Trenkyp was doing.

“Stop there if you don’t want to die! Or I will kill you,” said Reb drunkenly.

Trenkyp moved towards Sino with his Vibroblade and Vibrosword in his hands as Reb started shooting at the Kel Dor. Trenkyp made an invisible barrier with help from the Force to protect himself. Reb realised who and what Trenkyp was and why he was after him.

“Oh, the Force eh? You bloody Jedi deserve nothing but death!” said Sino angrily.

Sino pulled out a concussion grenade and threw it at Trenkyp. The Jedi started focusing on it before it was thrown, caught the grenade mid-air with an invisible hand and threw it back at Reb. He was sent back into a wall, falling to the hard ground. Reb pulled out two blasters and shot at a wall.The bolts ricocheted off the wall towards Trenkyp. The Kel Dor dodged the bolts and threw a throwing knife at Reb, hitting him in the chest.

Reb took out the knife and tossed it aside, taking out two knives out of his belt. Trenkyp lunged at Reb with both of his blades above his head. The Twi'lek barely dodged the attack and tried to run away but he was met by a Battle Droid. Reb was punched in the face by the Battle Droid, sending him back a few steps.

"You may not escape." said the droid.

Trenkyp swung both of his blades at the Mercenary, slicing his back. Reb threw his knives out of his hands at Trenkyp's hands, making him drop the swords but not damaging them enough to not wield. Trenkyp took out the Butcher, Trenkyp's broadsword.

"How many trick do you have up your sleeve, you cheating Jedi?" said Sino angrily.

Sino took out his blasters and fired at Trenkyp. The Jedi dodged most of the shots, one of them penetrating his Jedi robes. The Kel Dor then filled his muscles with energy from the Force and kicked the Twi'lek in the ribs. Sino landed on his back with his some of his ribs broken. The Mercenary threw several smaller knives at Trenkyp but as disoriented as he was, none of them hit the Jedi.

“Tom, aim that blaster at the Twi’lek,” said Trenkyp to TOM-4V, the Battle Droid.

“Roger roger.”

Trenkyp focused on his lightsaber and with a swift hand gesture he sent it flying at Reb Sino but stopped it right before it hit his head.

“Now you will tell me the coordinates to your base on Daemmun or you will die,” Trenkyp said walking towards Reb.

“Never, you dirty rotten JEDI!”

The Kel Dor took his lightsaber floating in the air and pointed his hand at Reb Sino’s head. He gathered all his strength to penetrate the Twi’lek’s head. Reb then told Trenkyp the coordinates of the base.

“You heard that, Tom?”

“Yes sir.”

Trenkyp then beheaded Reb with a swift cut from his lightsaber, healed his wounds on his hands and took off to the Deathwatch headquarters.
