Competition: Balance of the Force?

Specifics

As is stated several times in the SW prequels Anakin Skywalker was to bring balance to the Force. As we all know things rarely go as planned, even prophecies. As such I want to hold a debate among Dark Jedi as to how Anakin fulfilled his destiny, was it by slaughtering the Jedi and bringing rise to the Dark Side? Or was it by returning back to the light before he died? Who knows, I want the membership to convince a panel of judges how he did this, with sources sited as proof to back their theories.
