Competition: Mechs And Lasers And Oppai, Oh My

Have you ever wanted to engage in some escapism? Just take everything you have about yourself and throw it into the giant pool of the disgusting array of alternate universes? Well here’s your chance! In the spirit of henta- ...er, tentacle po- ...no.

In keeping with our parent theme, draw your character in one of the many stereotypical Japanimation genres. This can be a mere outfit change, or a fully-rendered scene. The focus of the piece should be, at least in part, on your main or alternate character, with the inclusion of additional NPCs (slotted or otherwise) authorized.

Additional Notes (Read These!)

• Image may be digitally or traditionally rendered, but must be an original image created for this competition. Photo-manipulation will not be accepted. Stick figures or similar will be disqualified.
• As tropes are the general theme of this competition, please state in the text box what tropes you're using, especially if they are more obscure, or what show(s)/comic(s) you are basing the story on. Some examples can be found here and here.
• Grading will be done in accordance with the Graphics Grading Rubric.
• Adult content is permitted, but do NOT publish the submission if it includes such content. A friendly warning to the organizer wouldn’t hurt.
• Second Level Crescents will be available to the top three placements, and Clusters of Graphite awarded in accordance with Herald policy.
