Competition: Wants and Needs (Character Arc - Development)

To promote character growth I will be running this exercise, hoping that it helps you think about your main character, alts, or NPCs in a new light and depth you may or may not have already.

The theme is simple.

The protagonist, at the beginning of your piece will have a want. It can be whatever you choose but over the course of your story I would like to see you develop your "want" into discovering what it is your character actually "needs"

• There will be a 500 word minimum for this competition

• It will be graded using the Fiction Grading Rubric

• All submissions can be sent in doc form or pdf

• Please include a snapshot of the character sheet you will be using
