Competition: Mr. Dead in Your Pocket
Prompt
Fashion in the wasteland is a wonderful, terrible thing. Styles range from the simple and utilitarian, to eccentric, barbaric sets designed to strike fear into the hearts of all who see the wearer. There also appears to be a distinct surplus in bondage gear. Priorities, huh?
Your prompt is simple: If your character was wandering the wastes, what would their getup and gear be like? Create a piece of artwork displaying their apocalyptic-best, in all its gritty glory.
The top three submissions will earn points as follows:
1st- 6 points 2nd- 5 points 3rd- 4 points
All other valid submissions will earn a point for participation.
How to Submit
Submissions should be made in .png or .jpg format.
Rules and Grading
- A snapshot for the character depicted must be included in the submission.
- Adult content is allowed (it’s Mad Max themed… have you seen The Humungus?) but please warn your grader and don’t publish your submission if it exceeds a PG-13 rating.
- All artwork submitted must be originally created for this competition. Artwork created prior to this competition’s start date will not be accepted for grading.
- Stick figures will not be accepted for grading.
- Grading will be based on the Herald Graphics Rubric.
