Competition: The Last of the V8s

Prompt

Out in the wastes, sometimes that only thing between you and a slow, violent death is a set of wheels and a roaring engine, pumping on all cylinders. Of course, the vehicles of the waste aren’t the newest machines around. Rather, they are beasts of scrap steel and broken glass, suped-up mechanical monstrosities often closer to instruments of murder than a simple vehicle.

Star Wars provides an… interesting twist to this pattern. In Star Wars, your scrappy-supercar can fly.

The prompt is simple; create an illustration of what your character would drive through the wasteland far, far away, whether it’s a turbocharged Pursuit Special Speeder, or a school bus transformed into a mobile symphony of war. If it’s all the same to you, I’ll drive the tanker.

The top three submissions will earn points as follows:

1st- 6 points 2nd- 5 points 3rd- 4 points

All other valid submissions will earn a point for participation.

Submissions should be made in .png or .jpg format.

Rules and Grading

• All artwork submitted must be originally created for this competition. Artwork created prior to this competition’s start date will not be accepted for grading.
• Stick figures will not be accepted for grading.
• Grading will be based on the Herald Graphics Rubric.
