Intro

The expedition in the Velastari Temple lasted for several months and yielded results!

The documents, artifacts, and murals found deep underneath the Velastari temple on Kiast lead the researchers to the ancient homeworld of the Disciples of the Whills — Jedha.

While the moon itself had been nearly destroyed by the villainous Empire years ago, many of the faithful remained, as did thousands of sites, artifacts, and scrolls of the ancient religions.

Venue and fiction

Calo Sarat and his benefactors from the Council of Odan-Urr, have discovered many mysteries and materials during the dig in the Velastari temple. One such find, discovered by a group of miners and Odanites, depicted age-old battles between creatures of light and dark in the skies of Kiast.

The carvings in the Cave of Light, named as such for its glowing kyber crystals, predate the Jedi Order — or so it was thought until the clear mention of Jedha appeared in the carvings. Calo Sarat mounted a new expedition, with backing from the Odanites and the Vatali Empress, and set out for the ancient pilgrim moon of Jedha, now decimated by war and cruelty. There they set up camp and would spend the next several months engaging with local pilgrims and missionaries to find any sites of interest.

One such site was deemed to be their destination. They named the site — Cradle of the Wanderer, after a ruined ancient Jedi statue guarding the spot.

Structure

The event consists of five medium effort competitions.

The winner of this event will be determined by a point system.* For each competition you place in you will receive points according to your position:

• 1st place: 15 points

• 2nd place: 10 points

• 3rd place: 5 points

• 4th place: 3 points

• 5th place: 1 point

The winner is the person with the most points, so go do all the comps and have fun.

*Ties will be broken by the number of first-place finishes, followed by the number of second-place finishes, and so on...
