Competition: Sabotage?!

Your Main or Alternative character has decided to take a guided tour of the Valneikian Hive's factories. While deep in the heart of one of these facilities, your group is disturbed by the sound of an explosion nearby. Your tour group rushes to the scene, where one of the control panels has been blown up along with its operator! Someone is trying to sabotage the factory!

For this competition, you are assigned with writing a Fiction in which your Main or Alternative character is within this tour group. You have decided to investigate this explosion and discover exactly what happened. The exact details of the mystery are up to you: perhaps it wasn't even sabotage at all? Feel free to include any NPCs at your discretion, but the story must focus on your main or alternative character. Whether you find the culprit or not, your Fiction must be at least 500 words, with no maximum word count. For all participants Clusters of Ice will be distributed and those who place will receive Third Level Crescents. Entries must be in .pdf, .txt, or .doc format and will be graded to the official Fiction Grading Rubrick.
