Competition: Eldar: Second Contact

After over a year since returning to Eldar, Galeres is finally ready to push on in its endeavor to fully reclaim the planet for Dajorra, for Arcona, and for itself. While the Keadeans on the continent of Tairiku — remnants of the Shogunate of Tao Feng — have been slowly rebuilding not only their infrastructure, but their very political structure, the entire other half of the planet has been left to silence and mystery. Recent events, however, have forced Galeres’ hand, and they are now faced with both an insurgency, as well as rebuilding diplomatic ties with the Sardinians of Aifreann.

This is Eldar’s second contact. What you do here will shape the future of Galeres and Eldar.

• From Tairiku to Aifreann (Fiction): A multi-objective prompt where you can choose one or multiple ventures for your character(s) to pursue.
• Power of Perception (Graphics): Draw out some wiki-grade characters to give us a visual representation of the Keadeans and/or Sardinians.
• Pieces of Agriculture (Puzzle): Put together an image of farming in our galaxy far, far away.
• Cryptic Communiquès (Crypto): Take a coded message from an unknown Sardinian group and decode it to help Galeres keep itself and its allies safe.
• Forgotten Faces (NPC Creation): There are plenty of key individuals on both of the main continents of Eldar. This is your chance to add to the menagerie.
• Insurgent Push (Cluster Race): Combat isn’t only in the realm of fiction. Collect Clusters of Earth/Fire to show your impact on the enemy.

PLACEMENT

Placement in the overall competition will be based on points accumulation, which are given based on placements and participation in the sub-competitions. Fourth Level Crescents will be awarded to the top three placements in the parent competition, determined by total points count. Ties will be broken down olympiad style, where a tie for first will put the next placer in third, and a tie for second will result in no third placer.

• NPC Write-up: +0.5 score weight
