Competition: Bad days only get worse

Specifics

You are having one of those really bad days, where nothing is going well. You were trusted with a very important mission for the Clan, and things are looking rather bleak for succes.

Write a short (one or two page) story about how your character deals with the stress of a mission gone bad. How do they react to possible pending failure of the mission? This is a chance to develop another aspect of your characters, so detail as much of your character's thoughts and emotions as you can in the story.
