As you can see from the clips displayed, there are those in the Severian Principate that don't seem to take the current conflict...seriously. They seem to make light of the loss of innocent lives, and empower the notion that leaders can, unchecked, go ahead with secret projects the people that voted them into power never asked for. I mean honestly, we have seen a lot of super-weapon projects inevitably backfire. You'd think we'd learn by now. But of course we don't. So, maybe these "Mem-ays" that the youth are so fond of have some hidden truth. The Restorers are just asking for something to go wrong. The Expansionist? Eh, they can go their own way (hah hah). But the Retributionist? If you and the restorers hate each other so much, why don't you just get married or something. (I'm not projecting...am I? Oh god I sound like my sister.)

The Imperial Harmony party is here for you, though. We hear you, we understand you, and our leader, of all the others involved in this conflict, seems to be the only one with her head on her shoulders.
