Prompt

This is a fiction competition about tragedy. Write a story where your character faces a situation in which they are forced to abandon the person or people they care for the most. You may choose to end your story on this tragic cliffhanger, but I will also accept stories which push forward and find some resolution to this low point.

Grading

• Grading will be done using the Voice Fiction Rubric 2.0
• You must attach a Snapshot of your primary character(s).
• Use of other player, alternate, or NPC (existing or created) characters is encouraged! But please provide links to their character pages if available. Character sheets will be referenced to facilitate fair grading.
• All submissions must be 500 words minimum, no maximum.
• All submissions must be .docx, .doc, .pdf or submissions via website text box.
