Competition: Taldryan Invitational Tournament

Specifics

Purpose: Great competitors always want to know where they stand when stacked up against their peers. This Invitational tournament will bring together the most skilled and active members of the Brotherhood to see who is the best warrior in various aspects of DJB gaming.

There will be six brackets for this first invitational. They are JO sabers, JO guns, JA sabers and JA guns, XWA, and XvT.

Participants: Seeing as this is an invitational tournament, the organizers of the tournament will determine how best to fill in the sixteen (16) spots on each bracket. Some will be invited directly by the organizers and others will be picked by the clan summits of the Brotherhood.

Format: The Invitational will consist of single-elimination brackets. The first and second rounds will be played in a best 2-out-of-3 format, with each game played to 5 kills (JO/JA) or 10 minutes (XWA/XvT with 5/5 hosting).

The Semifinal round will be played in a best 3-out-of-5 format. The Finals will be a best 5-out-of-7. (The losers of the semi-final rounds will also compete in a match to determine the third place finisher.)

• Members: Second Level Crescents to the top three in each bracket. CFs for matches not played during the usual gaming events.
• Clans: Ground forces awarded for the top Clans in the JO/JA. Fighters for the top Clans in XWA/XvT.
