The death-worshipping Charon of otherspace developed bio-organic technology. Some sentientologists believe the Charon bioscientists surgically modified living beings to create organic machines that, while essentially living beings, were said to have no personality or free will.
Imagine that your character’s exploration of otherspace goes terribly wrong and they end up the source material for one of these constructs. Depict the process or end result of this surgical modification.
