Competition: A Flash In the Pan

Do you have a couple of minutes a week to try your hand at a quick little game? Do you like making those participation numbers bigger and seeing those credits stack up in your bank account? Do you enjoy a bit of easy participation, or do you like to whoop the competition in a quick flurry of fun?

Or do you want to be crowned the King Monarch of Games!?

Either way, this competition is likely to have the sorts of things you are looking for!

Rules

• Every week, a new (at least to this competition) game will be introduced.
• Each flash game will be active for 2 weeks.
• This competition will run for two months minimum. If there is sufficient interest, the competition's duration and as consequence, the number of available flash games to play will be expanded upon.
• Subscription starts a timer on each competition. This timer will act as a tie-breaker for entries where ties occur.
• Again, do not subscribe early for a competition. Subscribe when you are ready to play!
• Submit an end screen or high score screen like the example contained within each individual competition
• Have fun!

Grading Criteria

Grading will be based on the high scores achieved, or in the case of some games the highest level of a game achieved. If you have a question about a particular competition, don't fret your (doubtless adorable) head, because again examples will be provided.

Scoring

• Participating in an individual nested comp will confer upon participants 2 points
• If you are lucky enough to place? First will get 4 points more, Second will get 3 points more, and 3rd will get 2 points more.
• Participation points + placement points = score.
• Highest score at the end of it will get a bragging rights. Top placers will also get some sweet Crescents.
• Ties will be broken by counting up placements in nested competitions until a tie is broken.

Sweet Crescents

• Individual nested competitions will earn Third-Level Crescents.
• Oh, and the winner of the Flash In The Pan parent competition will win Second-Level Crescents.

Of course, more participants mean upgrades, mean more Crescents to go around. So there is all the reason to throw in some quick participation even if the easy credits, participation credit, and fun are not enough to entice you.
