Competition: Murderer Afoot

Prompt:

Murder Mystery! A maximum-level clearance officer in your clan's military has been murdered. The reason for the murder, as well as the murderer's identity, is unknown. You have been tasked with investigating and solving this murder mystery, whether it be one of their family members, an agent from another organization, or just a disagreement with someone else gone bad. You have been given unlimited access to the scene of the crime and whatever resources you require.

Write a story in which your character solves the murder of an important military officer, using whatever means are necessary.

Rules

• Entries must have an attached snapshot, and focus on your main or alternative character. NPCs are welcome and encouraged, but the focus should remain on your main or alternative character.
• Entries must be a minimum of 500 words, and a maximum of 3000. Entries under this minimum or over this maximum will be disqualified.
• Entries must be submitted in .pdf or .txt format or using the submission box on the Brotherhood website.
  • No GoogleDoc links or .DOC files, please download as a .pdf using "File" -> "Download/Save as" -> "PDF Document (.pdf)" and submit through the website.
