Competition: The Space Witcher

All over the galaxy, there are rumors of monsters tyrannizing the poor inhabitants of distant planets. In each canteen, there is a message board with a job offer for modern witchers.

Job offer #1 It is necessary to deal with the rancor, which ravages the surrounding villages and sows fear and death.
Reward 5,000 credits.

Job offer 2 There are other dangerous creatures in the desert area. That creature is Acklay. Reward 7,000 credits.

Job offer #3 There is a monster in the nearby lake. It is a large lake, which is a source of drinking water for several villages. By all accounts it is a Squid. Reward 3,000 credits.

Your task is to write a fiction of at least 500 words using your main or alternative (NPC) character. And you have to choose one of the job offers.
