Competition: Echoes In The Dark

Word has reached the Guardian Corps of workers going missing. Those delving deep into Selen's earth are never seen again, leaving only their screams and a pool of blood as proof that they were ever there. Due to the threat, this poses, the Corps has been tasked with finding whatever is causing this and driving it away. Within the crystal caves, the Corps' members finally uncover the monster and end its threat. Unfortunately, few monsters are so dangerous to Force users as this beast - an ancient Terentatek.

Your task is simple: Write a story involving your characters tracking down the Terentatek within the tunnels, and either drive it away or kill it permanently. How did it get there, what damage did it do? You're more than welcome to build upon it, and we'll be using any suggestions as a means to build a story from here!

Rules:

• Submissions will be graded in accordance with the Voice Rubric.
• You are also permitted to use Expanded Universe or Legends materials, items and elements, as we are not about to penalize anyone for using either timeline.
• Each submission must be a minimum of 500 words.
• The story must be centred on your main or alternative character. You're very welcome to use NPCs and additional characters to expand upon your story, but they need a single character to focus on.
• Please submit files as either PDF or Word documents.
