Competition: A Quatrain

**The Call**

*Hear it, mournful, in the night,
Age 'eld song, on dreadful fifes,
'Twas that which called us off to fight,
and by The Call, to give our lives.*

Sweat for every limit broken,
Tears for every heart unspoken.
Blood for all the pain and hurt,
Success sprouts watered from the dirt.

Down the road from shadows sleeping,
here I sit with watch I'm keeping.
When will I, too, drift to dreaming
to offset internal screaming?

Somehow I knew,
This heavy proof brew,
Some awfulness was had,
By that very thin lad.

Cowards! Came a cry in the night.
In flight I ducked a shot so I might,
Live another day to taste her thighs.
Despite knowing how she accessorize.

His red eyes burned, his hair turned black,
Every Sith poem and fiction starts just like that,
I cringe and twinge at the thought of said lines,
I get so angry, that my eyes turn red and my hair turns black!

Agents of Chaos, Dark Warriors of night

Away from our shores the plan for the score

Our bonds together, the heroes unite

With victory close, can we stop this war?
