Competition: A Haiku

A bright fire burns,
it will one day run its course,
what comes from the ash?

Just a side note; haiku's are usually about nature or the nature of something. It's not just the rhyme scheme itself, but the purpose behind it, using few words to describe something simple or profound.

Arctic heart, severed,
My body/mind remembered,
New life, with pain, bored.

The sun is sleeping,
And thusly goes our last day,
For you, we will pray.

Her hands red, yet cold:
hold them, and heat never comes.
Though alive, she's dead.

Fear leads to anger
