Stanzaic Pattern
A haiku consists of a triplet that is organized by syllables:
- Stanza 1 must contain 5 syllables
- Stanza 2 must contain 7 syllables
- Stanza 3 must contain 5 syllables
Example:
By the old temple,
peach blossoms;
a man treading rice.
