Competition: Recovery: Port Kasiya Edition - Search and Rescue/Destroy

Prompt: With the city defended, many still need help but even with the Children’s forces driven back, threats still lay in the shadows. Focusing on your Main, Alt, or one of your NPC characters, write a piece of fiction in which they either hunt remaining COM forces or search for injured and trapped civilians.

Must be a minimum 500 words with no maximum word count.
