Prompt: Every character has to start somewhere, every palawan needs to be taught, every soldier needs to be trained, and every Mercenary needs to find their code of honour. The question is, what was their training actually like? How did it shape the person they would end up becoming?

Rules: in a minimum of 500 words, write a piece of fiction detailing one of your characters' training. What happened? What was the first weapon they learned how to use? What was their master like, and how did it shape who they would become?

Grading: Grading will be done utilising the Fiction Rubric 3.0
