Appius’ characters are well-known for their grand entrances. Your mission is to write a new one for Appi and/or Darrio or your slotted characters for a venue and crowd of your choice. Entries will be judged on grandness and hilarity. Adherence to characters is not strict but SW/DB realism should be maintained (no showing up in your fancy Death Star).

Grading

• This is a solo competition. Each team member must write and submit their own document.
• Minimum of 500 words, no max.
• Members may receive karma ♥️ points for using Appi’s characters but no bonus.
• Submit in text box or in .pdf or .txt format; no google docs please.
• For the sake of our innocent eyes please keep it PG-13.
• If using your character, a snapshot must be linked.

Scoring

• Only teams may receive Placement Points.
• Teams must have 2 or more members participate to be eligible for Placement.
• All valid submissions will earn 1 point for participation.

Points:

• 1st place: 14 points
• 2nd place: 12 points
• 3rd place: 10 points
• 4th place: 8 points
• 5th place: 6 points
• 6th place: 4 points
• 7th place: 2 points
