Competition: Don't I Know You? - Return of the Knowening

After a long time milling about in dark and degenerate corners, it's back!

Is there someone in the Brotherhood that you’ve just been dying to meet? Be it to pick their brain, start a little romance, or maybe just stick an energy beam into their guts? Well here is your chance to do just that! Whether it’s a formal meet-and-greet or a chance encounter, this is your chance to spread your wings and make some new friends — or enemies.

In a minimum of 500 words, write a fiction of your character meeting, intentionally or by accident, face-to-face with someone else’s character that you have never fictionally met before. The “how” is up to you. This other character should be outside of your immediate unit OR someone within your unit that you have somehow avoided thus far.

• Accepted submission formats are PDF file and text-box submission.
• Grading will be done in accordance with the Fiction Grading Rubric.
• Adult content is permitted, but do NOT publish the submission if it includes such content.
• Second Level Crescents will be available to the top participants, and Clusters of Ice will be applied in accordance with individual word counts.

As always, it is encouraged (but not required) that you get permission from the other character's owner; especially if you want to make the encounter character canon.
