This series of comps is to make sure that your sketchpads get at least a little love and your pencils stay dust-free this holiday season. With twelve quick holiday-themed prompts, put something down on paper to flex your creativity and maybe even your sense of humor.

A quick word, we’re not looking for hours of hard labor or masterpieces here. With a few days per prompt, we’re just looking for quick sketch work, simple drawings that keep the rust from forming on your hands. Feel free to use any references that you like, explain your abstract concepts (if any) in the comment box, and get some black marks on the side of your hand. If your submission contains more adult themes (anything beyond a PG13 rating), please mark your submission as private, otherwise feel free to go wilder than your surly uncle hitting the egg nog.

Also, feel free to post your submissions up on discord in #art-chat as well, just to show off and maybe even bring some levity to this holiday season. Other the wise, have fun and get to sketching!

Rules:
* Simple gestures and stick figures are acceptable, a simple dot or line is not.
* There’s no commitment to the whole series, pick just one or do them all if you like!
* Prompts listed below are by the day, for those days only.
* Traditional or digital, whichever you’re more comfortable with.
* PG13 or uncheck public, please.
* AI for reference only.

Scoring:
* No Harsh Judging, will be blind-graded
* Rubric will be used for placement
* Participation grants one point. Placement grants 4 points for 1st, 3 for 2nd, 2 for 3rd.
* Most points at the end of the series will win series awards!
* Overall Scoring Ties to be broken by number of 1st place finishes!
