The noise died down quickly as the Neti and the Chiss filed in and marched through to the front of the hall.

“People, a state of the art starliner crashed on Gethsemane. We’ve been asked to go there, and remove hazardous materials from the wreck. There’s a lot of fuel, several reactors, alot of irradiated materials, and so on to be removed. I won’t keep you long, the Nighthawk is en route to the Fort so go get your gear and drop it in the hangar, put your packs along the back wall please. Prepare to leave for Gethsemane in about 48 hours. Once you have your gear ready and in the hangar, start gathering materials for dealing with toxic substances and so on. Once the gear is prepared, check the database to see what other discretionary materials and forces we have at our disposal!”

As Ood turned and began to move out to head to his office, Zosi’val’ria stepped forward, “And remember that while Gethsemane has a temperate climate, the ecological damages have dropped the temperature quite a bit. It’s currently winter so expect it to be more Agenor than Selen people! Now let’s prepare to go clean up this mess before it starts to poison one of our moons.”

Placement and scoring:

• 1st place = 5 points
  
• 2nd place = 4 points
  
• 3rd place = 3 points
  
• 4th place = 2 points
  
• all other places = 1 point
  At end of all subcompetitions, the points will be counted and medals awarded.
  Ties will be broken by counting up the placements and lowest score wins (10th place and higher will get 10 points each)
