Your character has been hit by his rage in the midst of battle. Caxqettes, allies, and friends are barely discernible from one another. Can you escape the violent anger to continue forward? Do you find a way to control it and use it to your advantage or simply fall victim under its influence? How do you deal with or escape the rampage of others trapped in fury?

Chicyiot

The Ancient God of War & Strife. Chicyiot is a male Cathar sith who has been trapped dormant for centuries until now. And he has awakened to a glorious battle to conquer! To Blood to be spilt!

• Rage & Battle Meditation: The Battle Savant! Chicyiot uses his high skill in Battle Meditation in tandem with his Rage abilities to enrage his opponents and turn them against themselves in one giant mosh pit.
• Sith Alchemy: His chainmail armour and dual battle axe are alchemically treated and lightsaber resistant.
• Ancient Warrior: Highly skilled with duelling bladed weapons, might and stamina, and deception. However, tactics, intelligence, and leadership outside of intimidation and battle meditation are poor.

Caxqettes

The caxqettes are a species of semi-sapient, Force-sensitive chimera creatures genetically created through unknown Force practices by the goddess Alla'su, their Mother who controls them. Highly diverse and extremely dangerous, caution must be used in approaching them.

Special Features:

• Siren Song: Hypnotic calls and screams with a Mind Trick akin effect that sways listeners to subservience to lure prey, be food, guard/protect, or help reproduce. Hypnosis is strong enough to cause victims to turn on allies, loved ones, or die for the creature. Strong effect on those with parental instincts of their own.
• Eatbreedkill: Driven by their animal nature and their Mother's directive: to feed themselves and their young, to create more of themselves, and to defend their pack and eliminate threats. Specialised members of the pack are more suited to these respective roles than others, and only some have the ability to grow eggs and implant them into hosts.
• Adaptive Evolution: No two caxqettes are the same as the genetic material from their hosts are retained and combined across generations into chimerical amalgamations.They also retain the genetic memory of their hosts. This trait makes them highly adaptive and diverse.
• Pack Mind: Connected to one another in a weak ‘hive mind’, they can sense other caxqettes nearby, their intentions, and communicate basic emotions/urges or Alla’su’s orders. Typically more prone to ambush and luring tactics, the caxxies awakened with Chicyiot are extremely aggressive. Yet, if separated from their packmates, they are susceptible to animalistic fear and may be turned by a strong mental presence much like the rest of their kin.

You are allowed and encouraged to come up with any mutations you wish, base your caxqette off any Star Wars creature found in The Iron Menagerie or make up your own original Selenian wildlife creature, but should bear in mind that as a baseline these caxqettes are burly and furred. This competition will be grading using the Fiction Grading Rubric 3.0 with ties being broken by organiser preference and relevance to the prompt. A minimum of 500 words and a valid character sheet snapshot are required for placement. Reminder to ask for permission to use other people’s characters, and that if your fiction goes over the bounds of PG-13 rating, to hide your entry.
