Competition: Haiku: Examining The Code

There is no emotion, there is peace. There is no ignorance, there is knowledge. There is no passion, there is serenity. There is no chaos, there is harmony.

To know the code, one must pick apart the different words, the feelings they stir, and the meaning behind them.

This will be done in the form of 8 Haikus

A haiku consists of a triplet that is organized by syllables:

• Stanza 1 must contain 5 syllables
• Stanza 2 must contain 7 syllables
• Stanza 3 must contain 5 syllables

1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place of overall competition will be determined using a point system.

Individual comps will be scored as follows.

• 1st Place: 5 points
• 2nd Place: 3 Points
• 3rd Place: 2 Points
• Participant: 1 Point

In the event of a tie, number of 1st place Crescents will determine the overall winner.
