Competition: Ides of March: Week 1b

What's Going On?

Each week we'll be hosting two prompts for you to make a short fiction starring one or more of your Brotherhood Characters. The prompts proposed for each week were chosen to drive different styles of narratives and bring forward different creative elements.

Rules and Scoring

• Fictions will be graded using the Fiction Grading Rubric 3.0
• Character Snapshots are required.
• Submissions must have a minimum of 500 words.
• Submissions must be submitted in either .docx or .pdf format.
• In the event of a Container-wide Tie, final placement will be determined by the amount of participation/placements throughout.
• If the above measure also results in a tie, the final placement will be decided by which stories left the most impact on us as the reviewers.

Competition Scoring:

Individual fiction will be graded using the Fiction Grading Rubric 3.0 with ties broken by preference and relevance to the prompt. A minimum of 500 words and a valid snapshot of your character sheet are required for placement.

Overall Scoring will be simple, with the top three garnering additional points and everyone who took part being recognized. Whoever has the largest point value at the end wins the pot and gains additional glory, but most importantly, we get to have fun along the way.
