The Envoy Corps has sent out a call for help to nearby members, will you respond?

The Situation

Governor Malium of the planet Kyasis is set to meet with a delegation from the Brotherhood to negotiate trade. Two days ago the governor and his team went missing while on an inspection of his factories. Intelligence points towards a kidnapping but no one has claimed responsibility yet. His last known location is the Almara Corp factories on Kyasis.

Clearly someone wants to put a stop to these trade talks. Was this a small group of malcontents upset with the potential deal and do not like the Brotherhood and what it stands for, pirates looking to make some credits, or one of the many groups from the Brotherhood’s past trying to weaken the Iron Throne?

As a sign of goodwill towards the governor, the Exarch has sent out a call to the Envoy Corps to find whoever did this and retrieve the governor. Will you and your team answer the call?

Extra Details

You can either have your team pre-assembled or meet at the rendezvous location. Unfortunately, the Exarch is unable to lend much in the way of resources but a line of communication is open between your team and Envoy Corps HQ. You are welcome to create your own original characters and NPCs for this, but all members participating must have a snapshot attached.

How you run the RP is up to you. Want to use a particular rule set or make your own? Go for it! Teams are more than welcome to use Dice Maiden to determine actions/reactions but doing so will not affect scoring.

Rubric and Rules

• Create an RP using the /rp create function on Discord.
• RPs will be graded following the Voice Fiction Rubric.
• Teams must have a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 5 members.
  
• Each Team’s RP must be named using the following convention: “Team Name - [Envoy Corps]” where “Team Name” is a unique name for your group. If we can’t find your RP thread, we can’t grade it!
  
• Members must post a minimum of 100 words for participation credit
• Teams must have at least two members post a minimum of 500 words to be eligible for placement.
  
• Posts may be edited or deleted at any time, but doing so may disrupt the flow of the run on and negatively impact your Team’s score.
  
• RPs will be processed with no DM, meaning all members involved will be given credit towards the RP participant trophy.

How To Submit

• When the RP is completed, the person who started it (Leader) needs to press the “Finalize Session” button. This will generate a HTML url (example: https://discord.djb.club/rp-sessions/jrR.html).
  
• At least one member must submit the team name and list of members in the text submission box below, and include the HTML url of the finalized RP.

ALL RPS MUST BE FINALIZED BY APRIL 30th.
