Competition: Sinners: Gluttony

Everyone struggles with vice, just as everyone extols virtue. In this instance, however, we are exploring the vice of gluttony or overindulgence. Tell the story of a time your character was faced with this emotion and how they managed to deal with it in the end. Did they give in? Did they heroically stand against it?
