The Details

You and your fellow Housemates have been working alongside the needy villages of Ussun for a little bit now, but there is more work to be done. While some of the buildings have been cleared and the residents of the villages now have their necessities, debris still lines the streets and covers people's homes. You also realize some of the locals, now recovering from the shock of all that has happened, are beginning to plan and hold funerals and rites for those who they have lost-- or who are still lost, never to return home.

The Prompt

In at least 500 words, write a fiction detailing how you help complete one of the tasks begin handled by the support staff from Galeres. You have the option to either help out by:

• Helping to clean the rubble and debris that is still strewn about villages, roads, and inside of homes
  
• Helping to plan or attending the rites of those who are lost. How does your character react? What does the funeral look like?

• Entries must meet a minimum of 500 words to be considered for participation
• Entries must be submitted in a .pdf format or textbox entry
• You do not need to use a sheeted character for this entry, unsheeted NPCs are eligible.
• You do not need to submit a snapshot for this competition
• Competitions will be graded using the Voice Grading Rubric and grading breakdowns will be available upon request
