Competition: Mutagenic Mayhem

A terrible tragedy has occurred. A mad scientist trained in wielding the Force has kidnapped someone close to your character and infected them with a mutagenic Force plague. Their body has begun to rapidly mutate; they now share characteristics with at least one animal found in the galaxy. When faced with such a bizarre situation how does your character react?

Do they search for a cure? Hunt down the scientist in revenge? Seek a way for their companion to live even with their new circumstances? Or perhaps something else entirely? For participation and placement, write how your character would cope with such a situation using a minimum of 500 words with no word cap.

This competition will be graded using the Fiction Rubric 3.0 alongside personal preferences. I look forward to seeing the stories you craft!
