Here is my vision of the graffiti tag. I used the dame symbol from my submission for Language of the Undercity so that I have a little bit of continuity. The symbol is just a counter clockwise spiral and then I added the three red lines in the center with a Photoshop Stamp. The background is just a stock brick background I had from a skateboarding shoot I did some years ago. But I believe it is from PNGTree. I just took the saturation from it. I added the symbol to the brick wall and used Vanish Point to get the angle of the wall close and then I just added spray paint splatter around the graphic to give it that graffiti look. Then it was just a matter of going in and adding in more texture and distressing with a little burning and dodging.

Here is a little brief on the symbol:

A tightly coiled spiral (like a galaxy) wrapping counter-clockwise around a dark void at its center. The spiral ends in a claw like hook, symbolizing the gang’s expanding reach and their predatory nature. Center Emblem: Inside the spiral’s void is a shadowed circle with three vertical slashes. Represents the original founders of the the Quantum Shafows

Color Scheme:
Core Spiral: Jet black with violet edges
Slashes/Marks: Blood red or deep crimson
