Write about a time when a medic saved your character. Or your character as a medic saved someone else, or tried their absolute best to save someone but couldn’t. What was bedside manner like? What were the thoughts? The actions? The feelings? How has it shaped your character to this day?

Trauma dump is allowed. ;)

Rules

-Entries will be judged by the Fiction Rubric 3.0
-In the event of a tie, we'll decide based on the story that we find the most entertaining.
-Your entry must be at least 500 words, with no upper limit.
-Entries must be submitted in .pdf format and uploaded to the site.
-This will not be a CO-OP fiction.
-You may use your own NPCs, non-sheeted characters and if using another persons character make sure to ask for permission ahead of time.
