CALLING ALL ARTISTS !

The emissary staff is looking to put the work of our creative members in a showcase for the whole galaxy to see. Sivall has scoured trends on the holonet and has found that the current theme that is in is "raw creativity"--- whatever the frak that means. She's put out an invitation to all Brotherhood members, asking for them to send in rough sketches of whatever they desire. For her, there is nothing more raw than throwing ink on a page with wanton abandon, with little thought about where and how. Will your character step up to the challenge?

The Deets

Every week will have a new theme. Your job is to draw a sketch, no matter the medium, and send it in. While this competition is made with the purpose of highlighting pieces in our quarterly newsletter, you can still submit to this comp and opt-out of your work being selected by making sure to un-click the "Visibility" button for your submission.

• This competition awards double clusters of graphite!

The Rules

• As you well know, no AI submissions will be allowed.
• While shading is allowed, these sketches should not include color (unless the whole sketch is done in one color-- for instance, blue pen). We are not looking for anyone to go above and beyond with these submissions.
• All submissions will be graded using the Herald's Grading Guidelines. For the parent competition, placement will be determined based on overall points obtained in the container.
  • Placements for competitions award the following points:
    • First place - 10 points
    • Second place - 8 points
    • Third Place - 6 points
    • Fourth place - 4 points
    • Participation - 2 points
  • Ties in the parent container will be decided by amount of placements ( 3 first place placements will win over 3 participations)
• Though this is a low ranking art container, obvious drawings of basic shapes with no other effort will receive participation only. Cases will be handled on a case-to-case basis. Nonsensical scribbles may be disqualified.
