This series of comps is to make sure that our sketch pads and pencils are not left out to melt in the summer heat. Stay cool with ten quick Sithmas in July themed prompts, put something down on paper to showcase your style and creativity!

Okay the meat & potatoes, it’s doodles and sketches. You know, when you're just sitting there killing time? Beat the heat with some COOL Sithmas sketches (pun intended!) So first of all, not looking for Picasso’s, looking for those kick-ass sitting in the car or lounging on the couch sketches. But sketch wherever you prefer! Take your time should you choose or you can throw together a napkin masterpiece while you are at chow! But just have fun sketching!

Feel free to throw in your vision, small backstory or references that you feel is pertinent to your Magnum Opus sketch concept(s) in the comment box. Then suck in some pencil dust and get to sketching!

RULES

• Stick figures are completely acceptable. Just a scribble or a dot…that is not!

• No commitment for all the prompts, do the ones that you’re drawn to, or do them all!

• Prompts are listed below, with two prompts per week for five weeks

• Traditional or digital, whichever you’re copacetic with.

• PG13 or uncheck public view, please & thank you

• AI for reference only.

SCORING

• Graphics Rubric will be used for placement

• Participation grants one point. Placement grants 4 points for 1st, 3 for 2nd, 2 for 3rd.

• Most points at the end of the series will be deemed Sketchmas in July Maestro! Plus some other goodies!

• Overall scoring resulting in a tie, will be broken by the number of 1st place finishes!
