Competition: [OPZ] Week 2 - House Locations

Finished
[OPZ] Week 2 - House Locations

While checking out the renovations, you find a newly built potential hotspot in one of the House bases. You can tell that this location will be a hit with your fellow clanmates and the Clan Summit, but it just needs one thing: more people. So in order to attract more visitors to this new location, you decide to write up a short description of the place.

Using information from the Clan and House wiki articles, create a new location within one of the Clan’s House bases. You do not need to be in a specific House to explore a specific base. Members of House Tyranus can explore Ice Station Zerek and members of House Ventress can explore Fort Dooku. This competition should not be about a location within a base that is already listed. The existing information is there to help you use your imagination and create new ideas.

Grading will be based on the syntax, originality, and quality of the description for the created location. A minimum of 100 words should be included in the description. Any fewer will result in a participation only grading. Entries must be submitted in .pdf format, or within the submission text field. To save a PDF from Google Docs, just go to File, Download, PDF Document. If your entries include content that is not PG-13, please uncheck the box allowing people to view your submission after the competition has been judged.

**The Pantalomin Peach Orchard**

The orchard is a 25 acre, 120 tree roughly triangle shaped plot of land just north of Aliso City. The trees and and area in a 50 foot radius around the crashed vessel are currently owned by the KC Brewery, and though all harvesting of the trees is strictly controlled by the company the rest of the land is officially open to the public for use as a park. The initial startup cost for the prepping of the land and planting of the nearly mature trees was roughly 120000 credits.

The orchard came into being through a bureaucratic loop hole and the mysterious and influential involvement of a pair of Corvuns, that involved a crashed light freighter called the Corra IV and a seldom used invocation of a series of surveying, salvage and prospecting claim rights, that then allowed the KC Brewery to claim title over the trees and their bountiful harvests without actually needing to own the land itself, since the property was officially outside of the Aliso City limits, just north of North Creek and its epynomous subdivision. The Corvun's were responsible for causing the crash, and preventing the removal or salvaging of the Corra IV on more then 1 occasion. Roger, the male Corvun, also walked across a holonet keyboard that Kalen was looking at, the result of which caused the list of Aliso City Bylaws and Ordinances to appear on the screen. Even more intriguingly, the perceptive Corvun, who was suspected to be Force sensitive and partially sentient, then used the terminals screen navigation device to scroll down to the precise City Bylaw that Kalen and his attorney(which he retained the services of for a months) from the Fey'lay and Associates law firm would use to file their ultimately successful claims. The 2 owners of the KC Brewery hold opposing views as to the meaning and significance of the Corvun involvement/interference. Kalen views the creatures as nothing more then meddlesome nuisances whose random actions had little to do with eventually outcome, while his wife Corra is of the opinion that the creatures are sentient, telepathic, and capable of comprehending complex topics.
