Competition: Season's Fleetings

After the cleaning crew did their sweep of the Idiot's Array. Vigo gave his approval of cleanliness. The Wildcards are given the option to pick out a room. From there, they are granted access to do whatever they prefer to make it their own personal home away from home. Paint the walls, hang posters, add rugs. Whatever their little hearts desire.

Prompt

Write a fiction about your character and their room. Consider their reaction to the space granted to them. How do they decorate it? Do they get help? Or do they spend a weekend solo painting and getting it ready?

There is no word count maximum but please don't make me read 10,000 words
