Competition: Words to live by

Finished
Words to live by

A motto is a short phrase that condenses the thoughts or beliefs of a group, family or individual. Something often seen on a family crest or coat of arms.

“This is the way.” - The Mandalorian
“I have spoken.” - kuill
“How wude!” - Jar Jar Binks

These are all examples of iconic mottos within the Star Wars universe.

In no more than 3 sentences, craft a motto for your character, family, house or battleteam. These entries can be serious or humourous.

Entries will be based on their ability to capture the feeling/beliefs of the mottos owner, usability on a coat of arms (the longer it is, the harder it is to use!) and syntax.

Entries must be submitted either through the text box or as a pdf.

"Victory Through Persistence"
An alternate motto for House Tyranus. Based on a quote I thought I read years ago that was supposedly said by Darth Tyranus but can no longer find:
"Victory is not the end, but a means to further power. It is the ability to persist through the fire that separates the master from the apprentice."
