Assignment

The holocalendar flips again to reveal the beginning of a new cycle. Different systems and cultures celebrate this occasion in myriad ways, but almost all of those include ornamental explosions of some kind. What kind of fireworks do you set off? What kind of celebration is occurring around you when the holoball drops? Create an original piece of art in any medium -- physical or digital -- that shows the scene.

• Traditional (hand-drawn) and digital mediums allowed
• Reminder: AI-generated entries are NOT allowed
• Put some effort into your work. This work should include more than mere stick figures.
• All entries will be graded using the Graphics Competition Grading Rubric V2.0 and what I think is the best submission that embodies the fun and spirit of this prompt.
