Rom-Com Mishaps - Graphics Comp

Romantic Comedies-- you either love them or you hate them. But you can't deny that some of the humorous events that happen in movies and series of this genre help lighten the mood on situations that would otherwise be pretty gloomy. Pick one of the tropes provided in the Subscriber details and write a lighthearted, low effort comic fitting that situation. XKCD-like comics are acceptable.

You can make your entry as dramatic, comedic, or heartbreaking as you want-- But how well you pull it off could be the difference between you winning or not.

Rules:

• These comics cannot be AI generated. Any comic that is suspected of being made using generative AI could be disqualified.
  
• Please make your comic text readable
  
• Submissions can only be made in an enduring and non-proprietary format.
  
  • Acceptable formats: .pdf, .png, .jpg
    
• These are meant to be low-effort and easy entries. Please don't tryhard it.
  
• Submissions will be graded using the current Herald's Grading Rubric
  
  • Ties will be broken by grader preference of which comic is funnier/sadder
