"This is all that rotten Selika's fault. Traitor."

"What do you mean? I wouldn't say such things of our Dread Lord.."

"Didn't you hear? She was drowning in galactic credit debt... This whole attack was one giant insurance scam to get her funds secured.. We mean nothing."

"Come to think of it... There were recent increases in various insurance policies on clan assets... Could it be?"

I heard the Eternal Order is attacking Clan Plagueis because all the Dark Side business we've been doing has unwittingly created a Force nexus that can be used to bring back Palpatine... again...

((This is a sequel to a previous rumor comp I had some success with))

Following in the wake of the assault on Hellas Yards and the civil unrest/terrorism on Aliso, an outlandish but widely shared rumor had began to spread through some of Ascendant Military's training schools. It stated that the attacks were likely being conducted by a super secret independent special forces unit of the Brotherhood itself. And the rumor held that the reason for the attack was to 'prevent Selika from successfully using the toe nail clippings she had retrieved from Mt. Tantiss to make a clone of Emperor Palpatine. As a response to various counter arguments presented by those skeptically of the voracity of the story, the additional notion that Hellas Yards also contained a classified cloning facility was retroactively applied to the rumor.

The entire event was orchestrated by the Dread Lord herself because the populace was costing too much and explaining the expenditures was becoming hard to do.

There is a rumor going around, that there is an old Consul coming back to reclaim Plagueis and restore it to it's former glory.

Palpatine rises whenever a chance to watch the Galaxy burn exists. Of course he's behind the attack on Plagueis.
