Competition: [GJW XVII Event Long] Graphics/Multimedia - Battleplan: The Siege of Cor’neria

The Siege of Cor’neria has begun. Collective Forces are entrenched and waiting for the coming attack. Your Clan has been selected to lead an arm of the assault.

Choose from one of the below scenarios to create your battle plan for.

Naval Assault on Cor’neria Shipyards:

You have been tasked with leading the space battle to neutralize the Isabella Shipyards orbiting the planet Nei’kapo.

The Shipyard is known to have a substantial droid fighter contingent which have been produced at the manufacturing facilities. The Primary Shipyard is the main objective, but crippling any other Collective resources would also be instrumental in the war effort. The Shipyards and manufacturing plants are also protected by several Golan Platforms. The Collective has also placed a naval contingent on the defense.

Primary Objective: Destroy the Isabella Shipyards Secondary Objectives: Destroy the Manufacturing facilities, Destroy the remaining defenses.

Using only your Clan’s Naval Forces, devise a plan to assault the Isabella Shipyards.

Ground Assault on Elizabeth I:

You have been tasked with leading the ground and aerial assault on the Collective’s Hidden Headquarters on the moon, Elizabeth I. This fortress is well defended and features a sizable planetary defense battery. Disabling this Orbital defense battery will allow the Iron Legion to deploy additional forces.

Primary Objective: Destroy the Orbital Defense Battery. Secondary Objectives: Establish a secure landing zone; Destroy the remaining defenses. The Collective’s Defense forces can be found here: Cybernetic Forces Capital Enterprises' Main Campus forces can be found here: Main Campus

Using only your Clan’s Armed Forces, devise a plan to assault the Collective’s fortress.

Rules

• Battle plans can only utilize fleets and ground forces found in your clan's possessions tab on the roster to formulate a clear offensive strategy.
  • Battle plans will provide command and control for the offensive operations, such that the plan will provide necessary guidance to navigate the uncertainty and disorder created by the enemy's attacks. This must cover logistics, as well as control of the air and land. Some examples include air superiority in certain locations, evacuations, offensive perimeters/lines, etc. This battle plan would be circulated among your members and Clan military as the offensive plan of action.
• Battle plans may be written by one (1) to four (4) members, who are not part of any other team participating in this battle plan competition. Members may only be a part of one (1) team
  • Each member of the team must contribute a reasonable amount of effort, with a summary of each member's contributions as well as their dossier pin numbers provided with the entry
  • Only one (1) team member will submit their team's entry. The other team members will be added via manual competition administration
• Entries should be submitted in .pdf format, if you want to submit in another format please check and as long as it can be opened and graded we’ll try and work with you.
• No Google Drive folder/document links or word document files, please download as a .pdf using "File" -> "Download/Save as" -> "PDF Document (.pdf)" for submission.
