From the oppressive, sharp brutalism of Imperial strongholds to the soaring domes of Naboo and the weathered, utilitarian shelters of the Outer Rim, the visual design and architecture of Star Wars locations are instrumental in shaping the deep and robust stories told in A galaxy far far away. Specific design languages convey huge amounts of information to us. They tell us so much about the setting, the people who have built these structures, and the themes that will be explored in our stories. Visually exploring the Architecture of Star Wars may help you to better understand your own characters, their beliefs and values, or cultures. This is an opportunity to bring to life the environments, fortresses, sacred spaces, and urban centers that our characters may walk through.

This Competition series will be an exploration of Architectural design throughout the Star Wars Universe. You will be tasked with creating designs that focus on particular architectural styles.

Each Competition will focus on a different style and competitors will explore creating buildings within that specific design language.

Refer to each specific sub-competition for individual prompt requirements, rules, and grading rubrics.

Placements

Members will earn points based on placement. Most points wins - 1st place: 4 points
- 2nd place: 3 points
- 3rd place: 2 points
- All other participants: 1 point

Ties will be broken by the number of competitions entered, broken further by the number of higher placements
