Competition: Free Form - August

Context

Today's creative landscape is more fluid than ever, artists are no longer confined to a single form of expression. Instead, they can explore and combine a wide range of mediums; from digital illustration, to photography, or traditional painting, sculpture, and mixed media. This graphics competition wishes to celebrate that and offer opportunities to add more diversity to our art community by inviting participants to push beyond the norm and share how different mediums can be used.

Objective

This competition will focus on how this month’s prompt can be captured using free form. Do you have a medium in mind that wasn’t included in the other prompts? Do you have an idea that combines forms? This is the prompt for you.

This Month's Prompt

A Sith Wayfinder is a pyramidal artifact from Star Wars used to navigate safe passage through the dangerous Unknown Regions to the hidden Sith world of Exegol. Two primary versions existed in lore: one owned by Darth Vader on Mustafar and another by Darth Sidious on the second Death Star.

Rules

• Valid entries must follow the medium and prompt shared in each sub-competition
• Your site entries must be submitted in one of the following formats: jpg, png, or gif
• Note the difficulty is set to regular, so stick drawings and low effort entries will be disqualified
• Reminder: AI-generated entries are NOT allowed
