Competition: Eyes Of The Republic

During times of crisis, the firsthand accounts of those on the ground is an invaluable resource. Your character fortunately(or unfortunately) experienced part of these tragic attacks and has been asked for a debrief by the OSI.

Choose from one of the two prompts below:

The pirate attacks caught everyone by surprise, but the combination of one overworked analyst and the quick-thinking team at the OSI prevented it from being even worse. Your character was on Elysia in the city of Aidos when they got an urgent call: come to the aid of the security forces in the city to prevent a catastrophe.

Your character was in Port Kasiya when they felt the explosion and saw the smoke rising from the Ektrosis Waterfront. Without a second thought, they rushed there to help however they could. Your character was one of the first people on-scene and saw the devastation in the immediate aftermath.

Write a fiction from your character’s point of view of one of these events.

- Minimum 500 words.
- Only static formats will be accepted - no Google Docs.
- Must prominently feature one of your sheeted characters, other non-sheeted characters are permitted.
- Grading will be done using the Fiction rubric.
