With apologies to the people of Wales, I challenge you to solve a conundrum facing House Hoth and our neighbors in the Kiast system: What the heck do we call ourselves?

Our home planet, Solyiat, has no official demonym. It's unclear whether someone who lives there is called a Solyiatian, Solyiati, Solyite, Solian, or something else entirely. It's up to you to decide, but be careful. You've got to argue your case effectively. Using the text box submission field or a file upload, propose a demonym for Solyiat and convince the Summit yours is the best option. (Bonus points if you include a pronunciation guide.)

Competition Details:

• You must submit your entry using the text box submission field or some other text-based file upload (e.g., TXT, RTF, DOCX, PDF). Links to Google Docs or other formats able to be edited after the fact will be disqualified from participation.
• There is no minimum or maximum word count, but you must both justify your proposal and keep my interest alive.
• Entries will be graded on strength of argument, linguistic/cultural/other evidence marshaled, syntax and grammar, creativity, humor, and how much fun I have reading submissions.
